If we bury anything in soil it get decomposed but roots of trees are under the soil for long time why do they don't get decomposed???

Answer:

roots do decompose when the plants or trees die but when they are alive despite being inside the soil they release certain toxins into the soil which prevents the microorganisms from decaying them and apart from that they maintain certain symbiotic relationships between the microorganisms such as fungi and other bacteria for the survival of each.
