If we consider the actual flow of current, which is the flow of electrons from higher potential negative terminal to lower potential positive terminal. Does the electric potential decreases constantly from -ve to +ve through the outer circuit?

Answer:

No

Explanation:

The resistance will be increased but the P.D.(potential diffrence) will be same

To confirm we need to use voltmeter and ammeter.
