Gender wage gap is the average difference between a man's and a woman's remuneration. For example in United States the female to male earning ration was 0.77 in 2012, which means that in 2012, female workers earned 77% as much as male workers.
It will probably take us 100 years to close the gender wage gap, if we continue at the rate we are going.
