It is given that , length of thread through with ball is swinging is L.

We , know time period of a pendulum of length L is given by :

$T=2 \times \pi\times \sqrt{\dfrac{L}{g}} \ \ \ \ ......\ eqn \ 1.$

Here , $g=9.8 \ m/s^2$.

Putting values of L and g in equation 1 , we get

$T=2 \times \dfrac{22}{7}\times \sqrt{\dfrac{100}{9.8}}=20.08\ s.$
