if we draw a margin 20 cm wide , outside a square of side 2m then find side of the new square .

i think the new square is 20cm+200cm=220cm
because 2m=200cm

When we draw a margin outside a square, that would look like the above figure.

Now,
Side of square = 2 m = 200cm
length of margin from one side= 20cm

length of margin from both sides= 20×2=40cm

new side = 200+40 = 240cm = 2.4 m
