Tomatoes: if u want to identify tomato so press it if it is hard it is fresh, if it is not hard and is pressing easily, it is not that fresh.
potatoes: While green potatoes are the most obvious sign that they have gone bad, there are other, less evident, signs that you need to consider.
onions: there should be any dark spot or wrinkles on the onion which are the sign of decay. there should not be sprouting too.
lady finger ( also called okra)- look for is color The brighter the pod, the fresher it is. Look for bright green pods with no blackened age spots. Then snap off a tip. It should break off like a crisp green bean.
like this only by observing and seeing the Vegetables colour you will get to know it is fresh or not
