- q will be attracted more

Soumya5887: Mtlb
shuhaib007: pls tell me in english
Soumya5887: See
shuhaib007: wt
Soumya5887: Its 4q right and that is minus q
Soumya5887: So 4q must attract more strongly
Soumya5887: -q towardsitself
Soumya5887: What do u say
shuhaib007: I think so
shuhaib007: if there is no third force residing between the two forces my ans is correct else it is zero

If no other charge exists between them,

then both will be attracted equally.

Since F = kQq / r²

Magnitude of both charges are taken into consideration, so both will be attracted with the same force.

RajivShastry: That is the law.
RajivShastry: They are attracted equally.
RajivShastry: The force is affected only when there is change in product of two charges that is qQ as a whole.
RajivShastry: Here whether u check it from +4q or from -q the product 4q^2 remains the same
RajivShastry: So same force exists.
RajivShastry: Got it?
Soumya5887: ohk i got it
Soumya5887: thankuu soo much
RajivShastry: Welcome :)
Soumya5887: :)
