Step-by-step explanation:

Given - ÷ changes to + so +will change to ÷

10 changes to 1000 so 1000 changed to 10

So given equation is 1000-100+100+10

New equation 10-100÷100+1000=1009 so (1) is correct

ANSWER

The correct answer is option (1) 1009

GIVEN

Mathematical expression

1000 - 100 + 100 ÷ 10.

TO FIND

Answer of the new equation.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

The orignal equation given,

1000-100+100÷10

It is given that,

  • ÷ interchanged to +

And,

  • 10 interchanged with 1000

We know that '÷' represents division and '+' sign represents addition.

New equation is as follows;

10-100÷100+1000

According to BODMAS rule, The order in which the operations must be carried out are as follows;

  • Division
  • Subtraction
  • Addition

Dividing 100 by 100 = 1

Equation -

10-1+1000

Subtracting 1 from 10 = 9

9+ 1000 = 1009

Hence, The answer is 1009
