If we kick a football it flies away but if we kick a stone of the same size with same force it hardly moves. Why? Hence define inertia and mass.

It is doing because the football filled with air and we say air is also a gas and we called this is a gaseous substance while a stone is a solid substances and have a very high mass , so when we kicked a football it flies away and stone is not flies away.

Answer:

If we kick a football it flies away, because it filled with air so it is very light and can fly. But if we kick a stone, particles are heavy and we need much force to kick it.
