If we learn and improve from our mistakes, why are we so afraid to make mistakes?

that is because when we make mistakes we get demotivated and a thought comes in our mind that if we will make mistakes we will fail in that particular task and people will see me as inferior and our parents might also scold or punish us for the mistake
