It may or may not be true that we are made from god. According to our belief god is self made by the nature and he control the whole universe.

Frankly this question would offend some but we should accept this however.

If God made us, God is basically an entity whom we made up. We are not sure who made us or why.If there is one god who made us, then it is strange that we create other God's.
