If we make magnet in circular shape, then the magnet will have no poles because it is impossible to detect its poles. Is it true or not? Why or why not?

Circular or ring magnets have poles. For example We stick two circular magnets together if they repel each other it means we are sticking two same poles and if it attract each other it means we are sticking opposite poles.
