If we place plane mirror instead of convex mirror in scooter what happens?

Convex mirror are placed in vehicles because by them we can see more things in back. But when we will use plane mirror it won't show much things in back

Plane mirror always form virtual image and erect and convex mirror forms real and inverted.
Size of objects in plane mirror is same but in convex mirror it is diminished.
By placing plane mirror instead of convex it would be difficult to see wider in plane mirror.
