if we put a few drops of alcohol on the back of the hand, the alcohol disappears and the hand feels cool.
Why does this happen?

The alcohol sublimes and to sublime it requires latenet heat of vaporization which it obtains from the hand and so it feels cool

Because the process f evaporation takes place which leads to the evaporating of alcohol and causes a coolimg effect on our hand
