If we put dried raisins in plain water and leave them for some time. Then place them into concentrated solution of salt and sugar. What you find? And explain the process involved in it.

swollen raisins put in concentrated sugar solution shrinks the raisin due to exosmosis caused by hypertonic solution.

Explanation:

If  we put dried raisins in water it swells out by soaking water

in plain water the raisins would soak and be puffed due to oxygen entering into the raisins and whereas in concentrated solutions it will shrink due to air escaping out
