Take an example of kish mish as a dry raisin...when u soak it in distilled water ...it tries to absorb water into it .....that is it moves from lower concentration(kish mish) to higher concentration(distilled water)...weight of dry raisin increases by absorbing distilled water. This process is known as osmosis
