If we take a syringe which has a rubber cork on its nozzle and fill it with water and then we push the piston to try to compress the water, what would happen?

Please give the answer with complete surety. Also... answer fast!

the water will compress to a small extent but it will be negligible

If the piston is pushed, the rubber cork will come out depending on the force you applied on the piston. If u press it lightly, it will fall out. If u push it hard, it will shoot out like a bullet, so don't try it at home!
This happens because water, and liquids in general, are incompressible, and they transfer energy without much loss through themselves.
