if we take some gram seeds and divide them into three sets as set A, B, C then put the seeds of set A on the moist cotton and soak the seeds of set B in the water overnight and then put on the moist cotton for seed germination and put the seeds of set C in the boiling water for some time and allow it to germinate on the moist cotton what effect of moisture on the germination of seeds?

I think set B of seeds will starts germination. When we are soaking them in water over night, this will initiate the growth of seed by giving birth to small nodes at both ends of seed.

The upper node will become a plumule and give birth to shoot whereas the lower one becomes a radical and give birth to roots.
