Given,

Weight of an object on the Earth = 36 Kg.

To find,

Weight of an object on the moon

Solution,

The weight of an object on the moon is 6 Kg.

We can simply find the weight of an object on the moon by using a relationship of the weight of an object on the earth and on the moon i.e.

Weight of an object on moon = 1/6 * weight of an object on earth

                                                = 1/6 * 36

                                                = 6 Kg.

Hence, The weight of an object on the moon is 6 Kg.
