first of all, what's weight?

weight is the force acting on an object caused due to the gravity. it's the gravitational force between two objects. if there's less gravity, then weight will be less.. and if more gravity, then weight will be greater. you can say it's directly proportional to the mass. like the weight of an object on moon is 1/6th of the weight of the same object on earth. since the mass of Earth is greater.

given the weight of the object on moon is 20 Newton.

let it's weight on the earth be x.

therefore 1/6 of x = 20 Newton

➡ x = 20 × 6

➡ x = 120 Newton

hence, the weight of the object on earth is 120 Newton.
