if wheat grop is grown in an field continuously for tenyears.gradually the yield decreased.why do you this happened?

The nutrients in the soil that is used by wheat is reduced by the continuous planting.So the yeild is reduced.

by planting the same plant again again the nutrients have been sucked from the soil
