High amount of White Blood cells indicate that the body is suffering from a disease and the immune system is working to destroy infection. The white blood cells produces antibodies to destroy infection. WBC are also known as leukocytes. On other hand the function of RBC is to transport oxygen to other parts of body . There are only 2 types of blood cells ::

1 White Blood Cells (leukocytes).

2 Red Blood Cells (erythrocytes).
