The term (x/yz)^2 is specific energy.

We know that work =force ×displacement

So work =F×d

Work=x force =y and time=z

Now x/yz=work/force ×time

Work =force ×displacement

Hence x/yz=(force ×displacement)/. (force ×time)

x/yz=displacement/time

Displacement dimensions=L

Time dimension=T

x/yz=L/T

(x/yz)^2=(L/T)^2

(x/yz)^2=L^2/T^2

So dimensions=L^2T^-2

This is dimension of specific energy

So the quantity is specific energy
