Step-by-step explanation:

solution:-

i)x=0 , put the value of 0 in the given polynomial

f(x)=2x³-3x²+ax+b

f(0)=2×(0)³-3×(0)³+a×0+b

0=0-0+0+b

b=0

ii)x= -1 and b =0, put the value in the given polynomial

f(x)=2x³-3x²+ax+b

f(-1)=2×(-1)³-3×(-1)²+a×-1+0

0= -2 +3 - a+0

0=1-a

a=1

value of a=1 and b= 0
