Hey there!

p(x) = 2x {}^{3} - 5x {}^{2} + ax + b

x = 0

p(0) = 2(0) {}^{3} - 5 (0){}^{2} + a \times 0 + b

0 - 0 + 0 + b = 0

0 - 0 + b = 0

 - 0 + b = 0

b = 0

p(2) = 2 \times (2) {}^{3} - 5 \times 2 {}^{2} + a \times 2 + 0 = 0

24 - 5 \times 4 + 2a = 0

 - 4 + 2a = 0

2a = 4

a = 2

Hence,
b = 0
a = 2

Hope it helps!!
