The answer of the question that you ask is X=1.07.

x+1÷(1+(1÷3-1/4))=2

=>x+1÷(1+(1/3-1/4))=2

=>x+1÷(1+(1/12))=2

=>x+1÷((12+1)/12)=2

=>x+1÷13/12=2

=>x=1×12/13

=>x=12/13.
