Step-by-step explanation:

x = 1/ 2-root 3

=( 1/ 2- root3) × 2+ root3 / 2+ root3

= 2+ root 3/ ( 2)²+ (root 3)²

= 2+root 3 / 4 +3

therefore X =2+ root 3 /7

______________________

as we know the value of x,

we will find the value of 1/x

1/x = 1/( 2+ root3 /7)

= 1× 7/ 2+ root 3 [reciprocal]

= 7/ 2+ root 3 (again rationalizing the denominator )

=(7/ 2+ root 3) ×2- root 3/ 2- root 3

= 7( 2-root 3) / 2² - ( root 3)²

= 14- 7(root 3) / 4- 3

= 14 -7( root 3)

therefore 1/x = 14 -7( root 3)
