if x=1/2√3 is a zero of the polynomial p(x)=2x square2 -7x+k,then find the value of k.

P(x) = 2x2 – 7x + k

Given, x=1/2√3

Substitute x in the polynomial

2(1/2√3)2 – 7(1/2√3) + k = 0    [Because, x is zero of the polynomial]

Result:

K = (7√3-1)/6
