SOLUTION
GIVEN,
x= 1/(2-√3)
=) 1/2-√3)×(2+√3)/(2+√3)
=) (2+√3)/(4-3)
=) (2+√3)
Now,
L.H.S.=x^3-2x^2-7x+5
=) (2+√3)^3-2(2+√3)^2-7(2+√3)+5
=)2^3+(√3)^3+3(4)(√3)+3(2)(3)-2[4+3+4√3]-14-7√3+5
=) 8+3√3+12√3+18-8-6-8√3-14-7√3+5
=) 8+18-8-6-14+5+3√3+12√3-8√3-7√3
=) 3+15√3-15√3
=) 3 [Proved]✓
LHS= RHS.
Hope it helps
