we have
x = 1/(2-root3)
rationalising we get
x=2+root3

therefore,
x^2= (2+root3)^2 = 7+4root3

now x^3 = x^2 × x
= (7+4root3) (2+root3)
x^3 = 26 + 15root3
now to find
x^3-2x^2-7x+5
put the values of x^3 x^2 and x ..

we get ..value of expression = 3..

hope u get it....
