Step-by-step explanation:

a.(-1/2+1/3)*(-1/2-1/3)

LCM for 2,3 is 6

therefore,

(-3/6+2/6)*(-3/6-2/6)

-1/6*-5/6=5/36

b.(-1/2*3+2*1/3)÷(3*-1/2-2*1/3)

(-3/2+2/3)÷(-3/2-2/3)

1/-1
