Given, x = - 1 / 2 , y = 1 / 4 and z = 0

so putting back the value of x, y and z we get,

(0) - ( \frac{1}{4} ) +3 ( \frac{ - 1}{2} ) \\  \\  = -   \frac{1}{4}  +  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ - 1}{4}  -  \frac{3}{2} \\  \\   =   \frac{ - 1   - 6}{4}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ - 7}{4}
