x =   \frac{1}{2} ,y =  - 1 \: is \: the \: solution \: of \: 2kx - 3y \:  = 4k

To find :-

Value of k

Solution :-

Since ,

x =   \frac{1}{2} ,y =  - 1 \: is \: the \: solution \: of \: 2kx - 3y \:  = 4k

Therefore

x =  \frac{1}{2} ,y =  - 1 \: satisfy  \: \: the \: given \: linear \: equation

So

2 \times k \times  \frac{1}{2}  - 3 \times  - 1 = 4k

k + 3 = 4k

3 = 4k - k

3 = 3k

 \frac{3}{3}  = k

1 = k

So value of k = 1
