then value of k is

(i) 3
(ii)-1
(iii) -2

Given:

2x + 3y = k

Now putting x = 2 and you = 1 in equation

 =  > 2(2) + 3(1) = k

 =  >  \: 4 + 3 \:  = k

 =  >  \: k = 7
