x+1 , 3x , 4x+2 are in AP

Then=>

a2-a1 = a3-a2 ...................(common difference)

3x - (x+1) = 4x+ 2 -3x

3x - x - 1 = 4x - 3x +2

2x -1 = x +2

2x - x = 2+ 1

x = 3

So x + 1 , 3x , 4x + 2 are in A.P
b=a+c/2

3x = (x +1 + 4x + 2)/2

6x = 5x + 3

x = 3

Hence the three numbers are 4, 9 , 14.

Hope this helps you ♥️
