If (x+1), 3x and (4x+2) are in the Ap. Findx​

if (x+1) , 3x , (4x+2) are in AP

THEN

3x must be the Arithmetic mean of (x+1) and (4x+2)

$3x = \frac{(x + 1) + (4x + 2)}{2 } \\ 6x = 5x + 3 \\ x = 3$
