If (x+1, 4) = (5, y-1) then find the values of x and y

(x+1,4)=(5,y-1)
so,
x+1=5 & 4=y-1
x=5-1 & 4+1=y
x=4 & y=5

as the two points are given equal
x+1 = 5. and. 4 = y - 1
