then,

  • x +  \frac{1}{x}

  •  \frac{1}{7 -  4\sqrt{3} }  +  \frac{1}{ \frac{1}{7 -  4\sqrt{3} } }

  •  \frac{1}{7  - {4 \sqrt{3} } }  + 7 - 4 \sqrt{3}

  •  \frac{1 + (7 - 4 \sqrt{3})(7 - 4 \sqrt{3} ) }{7 - 4 \sqrt{3} }

  •  \frac{1 + 49 - 28 \sqrt{3} - 28 \sqrt{3} + 48  }{7 - 4 \sqrt{3} }
