substitude x = 1

1 + 10 + a + b = 0

a + b = -11

x = 2

8 + 40 + 2a + b = 0

2a + b = -48

a = -37

b = 26

sidratul1: how did you get 37 and 26 bro

Answer:

given that p (x)=x^3+10x^2+ax+b.

p (1)=1+10+a+b.

= 11+a+b.

-11=a+b.

again, p (2)=8+40+2a+b.

=48+2a+b.

-48=2a+b.

now 2a+b=-48.

a+b=-11. now subtract it.

a= -37. & b=26.
