If (x-1) divides the polynomial kx^3 - 2x^2 + 25x - 26 without remainder, then find the value of k

If (x-1) divides polynomial p(x) to leave no remainder.

Then, p(x)=kx cube-2x square+25x

p(1)=k×1 cube -2 ×1 square+25×1=0

1k-2+25=0

1k+23=0

1k=-23
