★ Hey mate★

here is your answer!!

x = 1

on putting the value in equations we get

a ( 1 )² + a × 1 + 2 = 0

a + a + 2 = 0

2a = -2

a = -1

now ,

x² + x + b = 0

( 1 )² + 1 + b = 0

b = -2

ab => - 1 × -2

ab = 2

hope it helps you dear !!!

thanks
