(x+1) is a factor,
This means f(-1)=0
>> a (-1)³ + (-1)² -2×-1 + 4×a -9 =0
-a +1 + 2 + 4a = 9
3a = 6
a= 2
This means f(-1)=0
>> a (-1)³ + (-1)² -2×-1 + 4×a -9 =0
-a +1 + 2 + 4a = 9
3a = 6
a= 2

P(x) = ax^3 + x^2 - 2x +4a - 9
G(x) = x + 1
By factor theoram,
P( - 1) = 0
=> a (-1)^3 + (-1)^2 - 2(-1) + 4a - 9 = 0
=> - a + 1 + 2 + 4a - 9 = 0
=> 3a - 6 = 0
=> 3a = 6
=> a = 2
G(x) = x + 1
By factor theoram,
P( - 1) = 0
=> a (-1)^3 + (-1)^2 - 2(-1) + 4a - 9 = 0
=> - a + 1 + 2 + 4a - 9 = 0
=> 3a - 6 = 0
=> 3a = 6
=> a = 2
