here ,it is given that (x-1) is a factor of the given polynomial,thus x=1 will be it's zero ,
thus at x=1 ,
kx3-4kx+4k-1=0
ie.
k(1)^3 -4k(1)+4k-1=0
k-4k+4k-1=0
k=1
