= 3(1)4 - 4(1)3 + 2a2 -2a(1)

=3-4-2a2-2a

0=-1-2a2 -2a

1= -2a ( a + 1)

1/ a+1=-2a

1/a+1*-2=a

1/a-2=a

hence a= 1/a-2
