Here , x-1 = 0 is a factor

so , x = 1

, as it is a factor of kx^2 -2x+1

so ,,put the value of x in eq. , we get ::

k(1)^2 - 2×1 +1 = 0

k -2+1 = 0

k-1 = 0

so , k = 1
