Hii friend,
(X+1) is a factor of the given polynomial.
Therefore,
(X+1) = 0
X = -1
P(X) => 2X²+KX
P(-1) => 2 × (-1)² + K × -1
=> 2 × 1 - K
=> 2 - K = 0
=> K = 2
HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... ;-)
