Here is ur answer,

Since x-1 is a factor. Then the equation has a solution of x = 1.

 =  > 5 {x}^{3}  - m {x}^{2}  + 7x - 4

 =  > 5( {1}^{3} ) - m( {1}^{2} ) + 7(1) - 4 = 0

 =  > 5 - m + 7 - 4 = 0

=> m = 8 .
