x+1 is a factor of x³¹+2x¹⁰⁰-k

→ x-1 = 0

x = -1

Substituting the value of x in the equation,

→ x³¹ + 2x¹⁰⁰ - k

→ (-1)³¹ + 2(-1)¹⁰⁰ - k

→ -1 + 2(1) - k

→ -1 + 2 - k

→ 1 - k

→ - k = -1

.°. k = 1

The value of k is 1.
