SOLUTION:

f(x) = x2-3ax+3a-7 and x+1 is the root of it.

So, by factor Theorem, we have

f(-1) = 0

So, f(-1) = (-1)^2 - 3a(-1)+3a-7 = 0

6a = 6

a = 1

So, option a is correct.

Hope this helps
