If x-1 is the zero of the polynomial () = 4 − 12 then find k​

here is your answer

f(x)=x^3 - 2x^2+4x+k

put x = 1(as it is a zero it will make equation equal to zero)

f(1)=1^3-2(1)^2+4(1)+k=0

therefore:

1-2+4+K=0

-1+4+K=0

3+K=0

K= -3
